Teacher Professional Development

The Reformed schools in PNG are now all using the ‘My Father’s World’ Christian curriculum that is sourced from the USA. As this curriculum is relatively new to most of the teachers, and in order for it to be used most effectively, the teachers in PNG benefit from additional training. This project provides financial support to enable teachers from Australia to travel to PNG and provide professional development to the local teachers. Recent trips have focussed primarily on the new curriculum, but the project is also available to support professional development focussing on other priority areas identified by the schools.
