Support for Christian Education
The main project that Mission Aid supports is Christian Education in the Reformed Churches in PNG. This project raises funds to support the Living Water Christian School in the city of Lae, and the Logos Glory Christian School in the small village of Wantun. The funds we raise assist the schools in purchasing reformed curriculum materials and workbooks, which come from the USA, and also in covering the shortfall to the school’s budgets, which allows the schools to offer Christian education at a discounted rate. The schools generate income by holding multiple fundraising events throughout the year and by charging tuition fees to their students, with the aim of keeping Christian education affordable for the members of the Reformed Churches. With the generous support of donors in Australia and abroad, Mission Aid is able to assist these schools to provide greater access to Christian education for children in PNG.
